RECIPE PREPARATION Duchesse Potatoes:

Eight policemen from the Road Service from Botoșani, ARREST preventively for taking bribes

Eight of the ten police officers from the Road Service of the Botoşani County Police Inspectorate who were detained by the prosecutors of the Suceava Territorial Service of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) for corruption were arrested on remand, according to the court portal.

The Suceava Court issued, on Thursday evening, warrants for preventive arrest for a period of 30 days on the name of an officer and seven police officers suspected of taking bribes.

The prosecutors of the Suceava Territorial Service within the National Anticorruption Directorate ordered, on Thursday, the initiation of the criminal action against 11 persons, out of which a police officer, nine police officers and a natural person, following the searches that took place on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Road Service within the Botoşani County Police Inspectorate and at 19 other locations in Botoşani County.

The officer was detained in this corruption case Eduard Florin Iacob, who is accused of bribery, abuse of office if the civil servant obtained for himself or for another, an improper use, intellectual forgery, continued use of forgery and favoring the perpetrator.
