Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C.

In a bowl, mix eggs, salt and sweetener. Add the almond liqueur. If you don't like the aroma, don't use it. I love it.

Sift flour with cocoa, baking powder. Add over the egg composition and mix until smooth. Add the chopped fruit and incorporate. The dough obtained is dense and sticky, like biscuits, but you can work it with wet hands or on the contrary, on a floured countertop.

The dough is divided into two halves, each is formed in an oval shape, lightly pressed, then greased with beaten egg whites. Sprinkle a tablespoon of sweetener / sugar, then bake in the preheated oven.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes. It will bake nicely and smell very good.

Remove from the oven, leave to warm for half an hour, then cut into thin slices with a serrated knife, ideal for bread. The obtained slices are placed in a tray provided with baking paper.

Bake at 150 degrees C for about 30 minutes, enough to come out dry and crispy. After baking, take them out and leave them to cool, then they can be stored in a metal box.

They are delicious and get better every day. May it be useful to you!

Protein bars with apples and cinnamon

Ingredient (10 bars):

  • 3 apples (340 g)
  • 50 g protein powder
  • 340 g low fat Greek yogurt
  • 3 eggs
  • cinnamon

I used protein powder from micellar casein, but you can also use whey powder, preferably concentrated than isolated. The isolate has a higher protein content, but the bars will be too dry.

Method of preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
2. Peel the apples and cut them into cubes.
3. Mix them with cinnamon.
4. Put the apples, for a few minutes, in a hot pan over medium heat.
5. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix.
6. Place baking paper on a tray, including the sides.
7. Put the mixture in the pan and put it in the oven at 180 ° C.
8. Remove the tray, allow to cool, then cut 10 rectangular bars.
9. You can keep them in the fridge for 3 days.
