We mix the flour with the baking soda, and the rest of the ingredients are put on the fire on a steam bath and mixed until homogenous. Remove from the heat, allow to cool slightly, add flour and knead until you get a dough that is easy to shape. Divide into 5 equal parts and bake on the back of the tray, which I previously greased with a little oil and sprinkled with flour. Before putting it in the oven, lightly prick the sheet with a fork from place to place, so as not to swell. Put in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes. When all the sheets are ready, we put them aside to cool, and until then we prepare the cream.

Melt the butter, lightly mix the eggs separately and pour the melted butter (slightly cooled) and honey over them. Gradually add the condensed milk and put back on low heat. Stirring constantly, let it boil until it thickens.

Don't be scared if you find the cream a little liquid, it doesn't thicken too much, it remains about the consistency of condensed milk.

Divide the cream into 4 parts and fill the sheets, sprinkle ground walnuts on each layer of cream. It seemed quite a bit of cream to me, so I saved at the beginning, so in the end I had to put on the last sheet, which I have

sprinkle it with ground walnuts and sprinkle from place to place with chocolate icing (melt the butter on a steam bath, add the broken chocolate pieces and mix, let cool slightly).

Leave overnight in a cool place and serve the next day, until then the sheets will soften and you will be able to lightly slice the cake.

Good appetite!
